I posted yesterday about my Sunny Afternoon for Two and you got to see a couple glimpses of this beautiful red, sheer maxi skirt. Probably one of my favourites and a summer staple for me.

Every time the wind blew, I started to get giddy about all the billowing my skirt was doing. It's just so fun - both the billowing and the colour! Every time I wear this skirt I just smile - and smile, and smile.

A Sunny Afternoon for Two

Alex and I spent an afternoon in the park the other day. We walked around for a bit and then settled on a grassy knoll. He whittled while I took a bunch of pictures and enjoyed the sunset. We played War for a time until the weather got too nippy to stay outside without sweaters.

It was extremely peaceful and pleasant. A lot of our summer afternoons are going to be filled with walks and my camera and I'm really looking forward to it.

BEAUTY REVIEW: Coconut Milk Body Lotion

Warm weather only means one thing: summer skin. If you're like me, you've kept your skin hidden away all winter. When it's time to pull out the shorts, skirts, and crop tops, I always find myself in need of a little more nourishing body lotion.

The Organix Coconut Milk lotion fit my initial needs: smelled like coconut (is anyone else obsessed with me?) Plus it's infused with hibiscus extract, sugar cane, willow bark, rice milk, and bamboo extract to make a cocktail that leaves the skin hydrated, soft, and touchable.

The thing I love most about this product is that it is not greasy. At all. The smell lasts for quite awhile. The packaging is simple yet elegant. It's a great price. I can't actually think of a downside, to be honest.

I've combined this product with one of Organix other products, Morrocan Argan Dry Body Oil, in order to keep my skin hydrated. It's especially wonderful after some light exfoliation!
